In lieu of a live, in-person fair in 2020 due to COVID-19, Salon Art + Design released a print and digital magazine: Salon–The Intersection of Art + Design, with a Virtual Collectors Lounge ‘‘hosted’’ in the Park Avenue Armory's one-of-a-kind Library Room, originally designed by Associated Artists (Louis Comfort Tiffany, Stanford White, Candace Wheeler).
We scanned the Park Avenue Armory’s Library Room and created a 3D floorplan, on which we designed the virtual exhibition that featured pieces of furniture modeled from natural stone slabs.
We placed the spherical 3D output of the Virtual Collectors Lounge over a 360° photographic panorama of the Library Room to create the experience.
